The Garfield movie directed by Peter Hewitt once again follows Garfield, the lazy, overweight, and sarcastic orange tabby cat who loves lasagna and hates Mondays.

His peaceful life is disrupted when his owner, Jon Arbuckle, adopts a dog named Odie.

Garfield becomes jealous of the new pet, but when Odie is kidnapped by a television host who wants to use him for a cruel stunt, Garfield sets out on a mission to rescue him, leading to a series of comedic adventures.
