Who and What is Dr.Jart+ ?
Dr.Jart+ is technically not an actual doctor, it is more of a philosophy. Dr.Jart+ is an innovative Korean skincare brand that combines the best ingredients and innovations in skincare with playful art. The name is derived from combining the words, Doctors and Art – 'Doctors join Art'.
The Story of Dr.Jart+
The brand was born when Korean Architect, Lee Jin-Wook was inspired by a trip to the dermatologist. He decided to develop a skincare range that was healthy for your skin whilst providing a light foundation base or colour correcting cream as it is now known. He joined forces with a dermatologist named Dr. Jung Sung-jae and together they formulated a new product, the BB cream.
What is BB cream?
BB cream is a beauty balm that is a light foundation with skincare benefits, such as moisturisation as well as blemish and redness reduction. It is a product that is innovative in the way it combined high-performance skincare elements with light make-up. It was an instant hit in Korea. Today all top brands make their own version but in 2005 these guys were first.
Dr.Jart+ is singularly responsible for introducing BB cream to the US market. A deliberate move and masterstroke in marketing. Dr.Jart+ decided to concentrate efforts into cracking the US market in the opinion that if it sold there, the Asian market would swiftly follow.

Dr.Jart+ truly is a brand of the modern age and is described as 'playful high-performance skincare that is a fusion of technology, art, and skincare.' It has fun stylish, artistic packaging that stands out from the traditional skincare brands and makes for a great gift. It has a large social media presence, TickTock in particular, and shuns celebrity endorsements opting for cool animations instead. This all adds to the mystery and allure of its product lines. The ethos is a skincare range that is powered by science and inspired by art.

What is Special about Dr.Jart+ Rubber Mask’s?
Famed for their futuristic facemask, Dr.Jart+ Cryo Rubber Facemask is quite an experience. Described by an online reviewer as giving my face a drink of water! The sheet facemask is a massive Korean craze that has swept the world.
The Dr.Jart+ has been specially formulated with Algae Extract for intense moisturisation. They are also very relaxing, and users are encouraged to lie flat and relax for 30 minutes while allowing your skin to soak up all the potent serum.
They are very easy to use and all you need to do is, wash your face, then apply a generous amount of the serum. Then apply the rubber mask, gently starting from the forehead and working down. Leave on for 30-40 mins for maximum hydration. Lay down and put on some soothing music and make the time count, both mentally and physically.
