We received an email from Boost Sampling offering free duo samples of Lancome Idole perfume and Idole Ultra Precise Waterproof liner.
From past experience we know that when one of these drops, its fastest fingers first so we dropped everything and applied for the freebie. Phew! We managed to get our application in on time so all we had to do now was share this wonderful freebie with our visitors.
By the time we finished writing the post and were just about to add it to the home page, the free samples had run out completely. So annoying. That's why we don't have an original post page to show you.
in fact, this has happened three times lately with Boots Sampling freebies. Once with Lancome Idole and then twice with Fenty makeup samples. The Lancome free stuff is in our hands but at the time of writing this, the Fenty free samples haven't yet landed. Fingers crossed they will be here soon so we can show you.

Powerful words for a scent which is fronted by the beautiful Zendaya (star of Euphoria). In the TV advert, she is seen riding a powerful horse through the streets of Los Angeles and commanding it with great poise.
Sustainably sourced Rose Accord can be found in the heart of Lancome Idole Eau de Parfum - With its alluring scent and sharp thorns, the rose symbolises the complexity of femininity. The perfect marriage of beauty and strength. Roses are accompanied by Jasmine Absolutes that acts as a gentle yet generous accompaniment to Idole's heart.
I actually have a bottle of this at the moment, which I got for Christmas. It's truly a classy perfume. A 100ml bottle will set you back £99.50 but you can find it for much less when sites like Boots have it on a deal.
Lancome Idole Ultra Precise Waterproof Eyeliner
The other part of the freebie was a small vial of Lancome Idole Ultra Precise Waterproof Eyeliner - The liquid formula that is easy to apply, transfer, flake & smudge resistant. Lancome call it the perfect ally to finally achieve your liner goals. Precision comes from the ultra thin tip of 0.1mm that delivers an up to 0.4mm fine line with an ink formula supercharged with luminous carbon-black pigments so that you get ultra-glossy black results in just one stroke, outstanding effect even in the shadow.
This free sample is a lovely little addition to any makeup bag for perfect lines on the go.
How long did it take to receive the free samples?
As I mentioned above, we didn't manage to add the post to the site because the samples ran out so quickly so can't give you a precise date that we actually applied for it but what I can say is it wasn't much more than 2 weeks from applying for the free sample to it landing through the letterbox, making this a very fast freebie to arrive.
2-3 weeks for a free sample to land is as good as it gets. Most freebie take around 6-8 weeks to arrive and some can even take a few months.
Other free stuff and free samples that have recently arrived
We've had so many freebies arrive and we don't even apply for that many. We add about a dozen new freebies every day so we just don't have the time to fill in all those forms to apply for the free stuff we add to the site. Instead, we only apply for the freebies that we would really like to get, which works out to about 10% of the stuff we post. Considering that, we do pretty well.
