Chocolate lovers will be delighted to know that you will soon start to see packs of Maltesers Orange Buttons in shops.
The new product from Mars Wrigley UK has all the same great taste and texture as the traditional Maltesers Balls, only they are compressed into a button shape with a lacing of orange flavour. The new products will be available in four different packs (single packs, treat bags £1.19, Share Pouch £2.09 and 'More to Share' pouch.
According to Mars, they say over 180 million Maltesers products are bought each year. This new flavour may push that figure even higher.
Maltesers products account for around 4% of the UK chocolate confectionery market with reported sales of £139m in 2018, a 28.7% increase on 2017 sales figures. The industry average growth is 1.2%.

Every single pack of these orange flavoured milk chocolate with honeycombed pieces is just 165 calories and goes on sale at 63p per pack.

The launch of this new flavour began rolling out in early July 2021 so it may take some time to land on a supermarket shelf near you.
