Foodies hungry for a smorgasbord of culinary entertainment are in for a treat at Brighton Foodies Festival 2023, which returns to Brighton for a huge May Bank Holiday weekend from April 29 - May 1 at Preston Park.

The UK’s biggest touring gourmet food and music festival series – known as Gastro-Glastonbury – features live demonstrations from MasterChef Champions, Michelin-starred and top Sussex chefs including Kenny Tutt from Pitch in Worthing and MasterChef: The Professionals champion Steven Edwards, from 3AA Rosette awarded Etch, in Hove, Alistair Munro of Wild Flor, and Alun Sperring of the Chilli Pickle.

Also on the menu are MasterChef champion Tom Rhodes, MasterChef winner 2010 and charcuterie fiend Dhruv Baker and Jurgen Krauss of Great British Bake Off, as well as Lara Lee, author of A Splash of Soy and vegan baker Grace Hall.

Pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be performing on April 29 followed by platinum-selling local festival favourites Scouting for Girls on April 30 and EastEnders icon Martin Kemp on May 1 delivering the ultimate 80s DJ Party
