It is much nicer than the plasticine we had years ago, which ended up in a hard lump , smelly and a horrible muddy colour.

This is the second air drying clay kit that I have purchased. This one has a nice selection of colours and would make a nice gift for a child. There were a couple of things that didn't compare as well as the other kit I had purchased from amazon. Firstly, the clay pots are sealed very well and its hard to get the actual plastic off of the tubs. Secondly, it comes with a little guide of things you can make but I found this booklet to be quite small compared to the other kit we have. Overall though a good starter kit.

I opened the box on arrival to check if all the tubs were sealed after reading some reviews of tubs being open. Indeed two 2 tubs of clay were split open and the clay had gone hard and I threw it away , so I was not able to give it as a gift.
