Attached a photo for you to see what it looks like in place. I’ve fixed mine to the wall but didn’t need to it does sit very nice. But I wanted it fixed as i am rough handed. I love it and I think it looks the part with all my other bits around… Quick delivery . It came in it’s original box with no packaging so if a gift be careful when it arrives as everyone can see what it was. Lucky mine was for myself. Very nice and as described

    The item looks good and is highly practical, I had expected more room behind but there is no way to fit 3 plugs-worth of wires in the back compartment. If you are ok with fitting 2 of the cables, then this is a minor gripe, but still remains a substantial improvement of organisation and cleanliness of the hairdryer, hair straightener and curlers!

    cables, devices, untidyness - all gone with this unit.
    It was driving me nuts seeing cables from the hairdryer, straighteners and hairbrush all over the place. Got this and it all went away - We have it freestanding currently with no real plan to screw into anything as it does the trick.

    The GHD hairdryers fit fine but straighteners do struggle slightly due to the L shaped cable and thickness of plates. The heated hairbrush however is very tight and this is mainly because the handle is where the cable is so given the brush side is too thick for either of the compartments, the only way is to flip the brush over, keep the cable close to the handle and pushing it in. Not ideal but not used enough unlike the other two to make a real issue and lets face it, there will never be a device that suits every single persons needs but this comes close enough.

    So if you want to hide those cables when stored, or not have devices all over the place, this is perfect

    Use this for my hairdryer, which doesn't fit correctly because of its shape. Gap for wires is very small if you plan on storing other electrical equipment. Mounted to the wall as its not sturdy when standing up, which makes it difficult to access the back once the wires on tucked in. You should be able to remove the hook clip if you choose to mount it on the wall. It'd a nice idea. But needs improving.
