What with the current chilly weather conditions, you might just have forgotten that under the thermals and black opaques lurks a body that is probably in need of some serious TLC. But signs of spring are popping up with daffodils dancing next to the primroses on the verges. And that means it’s time to lavish some love on your body.

So for this prize draw we have the perfect duo of products from one of Beauty Bible’s long-term favourite brands – Temple Spa Body Truffle and Temple Spa Sugar Buff Body Scrub, both of which romped home spectacularly (with incredibly high scores) in the Beauty Bible Awards 2019 at the ceremony last month.

Body Truffle Total Body Radiance, with rose quartz, cashmere & black truffles is just as luxe as it sounds. The ‘sister’ product to Skin Truffle (another BB award winner and one of Sarah’s all-time greats), this divinely fragrant rich cream also features champagne extract, which has a natural fruit acid (maybe why Marilyn Monroe bathed in it), plus generous amounts of skin-plumping hyaluronic acid and cocoa butter.

One initially ‘sceptical’ tester said ‘I was blow away by the complete luxury of Body Truffle – it leaves a beautiful youthful glow on your body and the whipped cream texture sinks into skin’. Another reported that her skin ‘felt soft and hydrated immediately; after a few days the rough texture on my arms was smooth’. A third said her skin was ‘instantly glowing and felt very hydrated and looked more youthful’.

Sugar Buff Body Scrub is a permanent fixture by Jo’s bathtub and our tester panel felt the same. She also recommends this Mediterranean-inspired sugar exfoliator for scrubbing hands after being in the garden (or grooming horses in Sarah’s case). It contains moisturising and firming olive and grapeseed oils, fig and pomegranate extracts and skin-nourishing vitamin C, and the uplifting aroma features lavender, patchouli, eucalyptus and rosemary.

Our testers – well, they just loved it and said so, over and over. ‘This scrub was a real treat – perfect!’ said one. ‘Skin feels lovely and smooth and soooooo soft and bright,’ raved another. ‘This spa in a jar worked wonders; I was so pleased that the dry patches on my arms and elbows are now more. This will be on my wish list as it’s a must,’ concluded another.
