The hat is fully elasticated after the front quarter panel so it always holds on to my head. It's not bothered by wind at all. It even helps it accommodate a smaller head like my sons so it doesn't fall off, or hang over his eyes, when he steals it and runs around.
The front quarter of the top is very rigid which gives it a nice shape on my head and the front brim is very rigid keeping good structure. The hard brim and rigid front quarter give the hat a robust feel which I really like.
The material feels great and it feels like a premium product. It's like they set out to make a really good hat which is wierd, but also pretty neat.
I'm very happy with the hat and I will be gutted when I inevitably leave it on a bench/train/beach somewhere.
