The food team have scoured the bars, restaurants and street food stalls of South and Central America, as well as the southern states of the USA, to deliver the most exciting range of summer foods yet. New flavour trends include tropical guava, which appears in everything from a Sparkling Caipirinha Fizz to jelly desserts and even the perfect barbecue accompaniment; BBQ guava Ketchup. South American favourite Dulce de leche also features across the collection, in Alfajores biscuits, cheesecake and an impressive Peruvian chocolate & coffee layer cake.
in a first on the high street, M&S is introducing new Brazilian and Peruvian meals, including a tasty Pulled pork & chorizo Fejoida that will have you going back for more. And picnics will never be the same again with the launch of pork filled pastries known as ‘Pie dogs’ and delicious South American street food inspired snacks including sweetcorn & Black Bean empanadas and Jamaican Jerk Beef patties.
No fiesta would be complete without an array of tropical drinks and this year sees the arrival of a Caribbean inspired coconut & lime rum and a papaya pina colada cocktail as well as eight new American beers.
