Martell’s French Touch bottle launch party: 10 tickets to be won

10 February, Wellington Private Members Club, Knightsbridge
22 January 2016

We’ve teamed up with Martell, the oldest of the great cognac houses, to give readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to the exclusive launch party of their new limited edition bottle, ‘French Touch’, on 10 February.

In a shared desire to spread French culture worldwide, the House of Martell has collaborated with DJ Étienne de Crécy - a purveyor of the vibrant French Touch music movement - to create a limited-edition glow-in-the-dark bottle featuring his signature neon and cube graphic design. The special bottle embodies Étienne’s critically-acclaimed 2008 Beats’n’Cubes performance art show.

Emerging as an underground movement in the mid-Eighties, French Touch has since become one of the biggest musical revolutions of the 20th century, thanks to Étienne and like-minded artists Daft Punk, Air and Cassius. Not only did the movement influence electronic music through its unique contemporary sound, but it also widened its spheres of expression into art, graphics, video, fashion and now cognac.

Five readers and their guests will join Étienne de Crécy and Martell Cognac for a night of cocktails, visual displays and a rare opportunity to enjoy a live performance from the DJ at the exclusive Wellington Private Members Club in Knightsbridge on 10 February.
