    Nice machine,and if you follow- the washers to use in the right place- instructions carefully easy to put together.
    The manual that I have gives sixteen different exercise postions.
    The auto program mode is my favourite with 10 second cycle time changes in speed and vibration means you do not become bored.
    The machine has a maximum 6 and a half minute program,so you will never be overdone.
    A press of a switch and off you go again.
    The only slight disadvantage I have discovered is that if you wish to use all the exercise ideas some kneeling or laying down becomes necessary,and if at all imobile it is not too comfortable.
    However one can adapt to suit.
    Experimenting becomes fun.
    Since using the machine I have found that my stomach has become flat and rock hard-not sure how this has happened but I am not complaining.
    For many years I have had a painful thigh as a result of playing and coaching sport for many hours each week.
    After only a week's use I now have nearly full mobility, which is absolutely amazing.
    I now have no need for pain killers when coaching.

    Will review again in a couple of week's.

    Time for an update:-starting to become addicted and really look forward to letting the machine work for me,rather than being in a gym where you work for the machine.
    I find it relaxing and invigorating at the same time.
    You step off the machine and feel supercharged.

    NEW UPDATE

    As now winter 2010, started using the machine again,and after reading the lowest review (1star) about the machine" not being powerful enough "I wondered if the reviewer had worked out that there are THREE power settings.
    The reason I say this is that after not using for some time in the summer -so much more outdoor -exercise,that when I came back to it I forgot about the three settings and just used it for a week or so on the basic lower power setting and thought that it was not so powerful as before-then the penny dropped.
    Put on the highest setting ,and auto even your teeth vibrate!!!

    UPDATE FOR ALL POWER QUESTIONS.

    REGARDING THE POWER SETTINGS PLEASE CHECK OUT THE MODE ON THE RIGHT OF THE CONSOLE.
    YOU HAVE AUTO
    THEN A0 LOWEST POWER,A1 NEXT HIGHEST POWER,THEN A2 THE HIGHEST POWER.

    SORRY THAT I HAVE NOT PUT THIS ON EARLIER.
    HOPEFULLY ALL MACHINES HAVE THIS FACILITY.

    I have had this plate for 3 months and was disappointed as it felt so tame after 2 others I had tested, however I have shaped up incredibly - arms and legs toned and it makes my workouts so much more enjoyable - and half the time!
    Then I had a brainwave and decided to phone the company to query the power and tell them it only feels as if it has one speed - I got put straight through to a gentleman who knew immediately that either the wiring or computer wasn't working and no quibbling - he said he'll post new ones out to me - terrific service. He described what my machine should be doing and now I am really excited about them arriving. If my body has shaped to a toned 8 on one power - I dread to think what will happen on full power!
    Okay - the new parts arrived and didn't make a difference so the company reckoned 2 wires are disconnected in base so advised me to contact Amazon to replace it - swift action - new one arrived yesterday, and it is amazing. I am addicted. So well done to Body Sculpture and Amazon for excellent service and this product gets 5 stars now. Mum has ordered the same one now & she talks about it all the time.

    October 09 update. I have just realised that my hips have gone from 37 to 35.25, and my waist from 29.5 to 28.5. I have been the same size for years and worked out for years - so it's definately the plate (and bonus is my bust has stayed 37!). I sit on it in the mornings with my coffee for 5 or 10 mins while I come to. Then I do 2 routines per week with dumbells - an upper body & lower body or just a full body. When I think how I used to do 4.5 hours per week and now do 2x30 minute sessions and get better results I feel stupid at all the time wasted to shift stubborn areas. Off hillwalking with mum today - far better use of my time! Briliant product.

    I just cannot work out how this piece of rubbish has so many wonderful reviews...it just beggers belief!

    I wanted a vibration plate machine as my mother has one and its superb (Gadget Fit). It was however a little too big for my small house and was looking for one that was smaller, offered more or less the same spec and at a good price price. The BM1500 fulfilled my wish list and promtly ordered it. I very much wish that I had read the 1* reviews first.

    The package itself was fairly heavy, about 19kgs. Putting it all together, this bit I was dreading as i am notorious for not reading instructions, but this was actually very straight forward. It took about 30 mins.

    I plugged it in, stood on it and switched it on, with sweet anticipation. I had it on the lowest speed and thought "well that aint doing much". I proceeded to turn the speed up to full wack and literally all i could feel was viration in my feet and calves. I checked and doubled checked that i have the speed turned up thinking that I had missed something obvious, but alas no!

    It was such a let down. The Gadget Fit machine, although bigger, is far more superior than this flimsy thing, and you do feel and see every inch of your body jiggle, causing much hilarity for my children!

    I spent 30 mins setting the BM 1500 up, 4 minutes testing it, 6 minutes re-reading instructions for speed, 30 mins taking it apart and boxing it up ready to be picked up tomorrow!

    The bottom line is, don't buy this under powered, inadequate machine. It was in my life for an 1hr and 10mins and even that was far, far too long. If you want a vibration plate machine buy the Gadget Fit. Its the same price and a complete thoroughbred compared to this old nag.
