    so cheap!! some people have said its too short which i dont think is true unless your over 6ft because it was fine for me.

    I usually use a Reebok speed rope and fancied a change, so I gave this a try. The handles are nicely padded and the rope swings quite well. However I soon came across a couple of problems.

    1. The rope is quite thick, so it makes a lot of noise when turning fairly quickly.

    2. At 8' long I find it too short - my usual rope is 9' long.

    I'm 5'11" so if you are are around 5'8" or shorter then the rope will probably be okay in length. I would only consider this item if you are checking to see if skipping is suitable for you, or if you just want a casual rope. Mine is now used by my daughter.

    This is a very simple rope, in which you get what you pay for. It is not worth purchasing if very fast skipping is what you are interested in, as the rope is very light weight, and therefore flimsy and slow to skip with.
