These smell really nice and the frangrance lingers as they burn. They also seem to burn for a long time, much longer than some other candles that I have had. They come in a sturdy, attractive cardboard box with a foam layer on top to protect them, so would certainly make a nice gift.

When the candle is exhausted the glass container can be washed and re-used as a votive holder (Yankee votives fit nicely) or as a shot glass if you are fond of a tipple!

Overall I am extremely pleased with these candles and would highly recommend them.
