 Located in Midtown, the Radisson Martinique sits elegantly on
the corner of 32nd Street and Broadway, you a stone's throw from the world famous
Macy's, reported to be the largest department store in the world, a few minutes'
walk from The Empire State Building and a couple of blocks away from Madison Square
Garden's and Times Square. You can literally dump your bags, step out onto the
street and hit some of the major tourist attractions right there on your doorstep.
Whether you want to go downtown and see Lady Liberty or head up towards Central
Park or Bloomingdale's you are not too far either way. There are cabs galore on
the street but it is also fairly straight forward to jump on the bus and there
are plenty of subway stations close by.
The Hotel itself is quite grand and has a graceful charm and appeal, it has something
of the old fashioned about it is very clean and nicely decorated. The rooms are
very comfortable and house all the essentials you may need, such as hairdryer,
TV, internet, mini-bar, coffee maker, telephone etc. There is a 24 hour gym and
Spa onsite and they will provide special items such as a microwave or fridge on
request, although there may be a surcharge for these extra items. The staff are
all very friendly and helpful and it is a very pleasant place to stay. There have
a great Cafe where you can feast on the most delicious all American breakfasts.
Fill up with The Lumberjack and you won't need to eat again all day!
Overall I can say that I found the Radisson
Martinique very welcoming, comfortable and so convenient as a base from which
to explore New York. New York is such an exciting city that moves at an incredible
pace and after a hectic day the Radisson Martinique provides all you need in terms
of comfort. I would most definitely go back there. You are in within easy reach
of all the major attractions, comfortable clean rooms and breakfasts I still dream
about, what more do you really need? |
