| San Antonio is by far the bigest party resort in Ibiza, famous for it's amazing nightlife. However, by day San Antonio is also a very nice resort for all the family with lovely sandy beaches and lots of watersports and fun and games for all. |

Last year for our summer holiday, my husband and I went to Ibiza – San Antonio. We stayed there for three days. It was the most exciting tour we ever had gone on and we enjoyed ourselves a lot there, especially in the sandy beach resort.
It is incredible to hear that due its location in relation to Spanish mainland, Ibiza is only 2 hours flight from most of the UK's main airport.
Once we landed there, we were very happy to see that the island has very modern infrastructure. Such as excellent public transport system, running water, electricity, relatively mild climate and has a great resort for all types of people.
We stayed in one of the most beautiful apartments I have ever seen, called CASA MARIA apartments. It's situated in the centre of San Antonio in a pedestrian street where there are a number of restaurants and cafes. There is also a wonderful 360 degree panoramic view of the bay of San Antonio and its famous sunsets. Value for money wise, it is great with nice clean rooms and close proximity to the beach makes it a must for either couples or families with kids.
Other popular hotels in San Antonio include Ibiza Rocks, Confort Plaza, Poniente Playa, Piscis Park and Marco Polo 2.
Beaches are very sandy and we loved to sit in the sand chatting, playing games, and enjoying the breeze and lovely waves. The people and crowd are very friendly, everyone plays nicely and seem to be enjoying themselves a lot.
Though there are many famous hotels like hotel Hawaii and hotel Apolo, we stayed only in an apartment because I went with group of people.
In the bay the restaurants are great and offer all kinds of varieties of foods from English meals to real tapas Spanish foods. In my opinion the best restaurants in San Antonio bay are KTC, Olive Press and Tapas etc.
The best bars in San Antonio bay are Cafe Mambo, Bar M, Pink Panther and the Old Tavern. We went to all the bars together and treated ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
I found it to be a very lively place. If you're a party animal like me you will also really love this place. The night-life was great and probably the best I have ever seen and I have been to a lot of places.
There is a lot to do here! The bay is ideal as it is only a short walk into San Antonio! Much quieter than the bay.
As a whole I can say the resort was great for a relaxing break, nice beach, fantastic night-life, great food, good selection of bars and mutual and friendly relationship with the people living there. Would return to this bay again and again. |
