 I have just returned from the San Miguel Hotel in Ibiza, having been all inclusive for a week. I travelled with two friends and we are all 18.
We were slightly worried before we went having read other people’s reviews online but when we got there we found we had nothing to worry about. The rooms are basic but always kept very clean. Two lovely clean pools – we saw them being cleaned each morning – and a beach right on your doorstep, which means you can use the all inclusive facilities all day without travelling too far.

The beach was a nice small cove so it was quite relaxing and usually not too busy. However, there were jellyfish sightings when we were there so stay vigilant, but nothing too much to worry about.
There were always activities in the children’s pool by the San Miguel apartments for both adults and children.
The evening entertainment was really good and all in English so we could understand everything. There were quite a few bars so never any queues for drinks or snacks. The only down side is that the food could be a little better as it was quite repetitive but then it is the same everywhere so it can’t be helped.
However everything else about the place made up for the slight disappointment. The maid service was excellent; our towels were changed daily, the rooms cleaned daily and the sheets changed once during the week.
There was a TV in the room with the sky news channel and you could pay €2 per day for more channels, but we didn’t bother as we were too busy to watch TV! We had a good sized balcony with a table and two chairs which was all very clean, with the evening sun on our balcony for a nice relaxing evening before we went out. I would definitely go back again! |
