 We stayed in the 4 star hotel AR Almerimar last September and enjoyed our stay greatly. The room was spacious and the hotel staff very attentive to our needs when we asked for extra beds and travel cot.

The food was a buffet style and second to none. You were totally spoiled for choice and the temptation was to eat far too much. A full board booking would be unnecessary in my opinion, as you would only need a snack in the middle of the day.
The entertainment team was excellent. You could tell it was a job they really enjoyed and they really went the second mile, chatting to guests and children even in their free time. This contributed to a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
We went after the high season and so in many ways the entertainment end of the service was slowing down as school started the following week. Even so, they made great efforts to entertain our 2-year-old daughter and there were great magic shows and discos. I can imagine that during July and August you would be highly entertained 24 hours a day!
Children are well catered for and looked after in children’s clubs to give the parents some free time.
The hotel is located in a very attractive complex, with a lovely large swimming pool and also a children’s playground. Every couple of hours the entertainment team would be out giving aerobics sessions and the like! The indoor sporting facilities are also very good.
We would have no doubts in choosing this hotel again for our holidays and we have many cherished memories – our first holiday as a family of four (we had a 2 month old daughter with us too!) With this hotel the choice is yours – a quiet relaxing time as a couple or a family, or living the high life and joining in with all the activities you could possibly imagine. |
